Michael Gustaf van Aardt was born in Bleomfontein and grew up in Eastern Cape. Dr Mike graduated from WITS University in 2008 and completed his internship at Baragwanath hospital and East London.

 

Dr Mike did community service in Rustenburg and has a keen interest in ENT conditions and in Trauma and critical care. He has 2 years experience in ENT department at Johannesburg Gen and Baragwanath. 1.5 years of casualty work at Olivedale and Sandton Mediclinic, 2 years of Trauma and ICU experience at Joburg Gen.

Dr Mike enjoys keeping active, at gym and social rugby and running with his labrador. Dr Mike also enjoys traveling with his wife.
